At ISSFT, our students are housed in modern en-suite bedrooms within the historic grounds of the University of St Andrews. Rooms are allocated by age and gender to ensure a safe, comfortable, and age-appropriate environment. This thoughtful setup encourages a strong sense of community while allowing students the space to grow, connect, and enjoy their summer experience.
Each room includes en-suite shower and toilet, a comfortable bed and a study space. All accommodation is cleaned regularly, with fresh bed linen and towels provided. For peace of mind, students are given their own room key to ensure they feel safe and secure throughout their stay.

House System
Our house system keeps all of our students safe and secure.
Student accommodation is divided by age and gender. Each group is assigned a house which helps us to supervise and coordinate activities for our students at all times.
Each house has a designated member of staff who is responsible for the wellbeing of their group. It is their job to ensure that there is a balance between learning, socialising and resting.
Staff have a daily meeting to report any concerns to the school director. The house system helps students cultivate strong friendships and creates a sense of community and responsibility throughout the school.
