Storms, Swings & Scottish Spirit
Even the wild weather couldn’t dampen the energy at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in St Andrews yesterday — a reminder that Scotland really is the ultimate home of golf (and a little adventure!).
With Storm Amy turning the tournament into a 54-hole battle, local hero Robert MacIntyre rose to the challenge, becoming the first Scot in 20 years to lift the trophy. His calm focus and resilience were a true masterclass in leadership under pressure — qualities we love to inspire in our ISSFT students, too.
And of course, there was a touch of fun — Andy Murray’s viral bunker moment had the crowds laughing, proving that even champions can enjoy the game no matter the outcome.
From wind-swept fairways to world-class talent, St Andrews once again showed why it’s the perfect place to learn, grow and play — whether you’re chasing a championship… or just perfecting your swing at ISSFT next summer.
